Privacy and databases

Wednesday, November 22 2006 11:29 AM

Randy,

At one of your recent classes, a question was raised about removing ourselve from databases. You said it could take 5 years.
Please tell us some ways to get this process started.

Lou,

This is a complex subject that is more involved than can be explained in this venue. You might consider purchasing our Privacy and Asset Protection book. It can be found on our home page under "Shop Online."

Here is a hint to get you started: 90% of the information circulated about you is found at the court house in your county. Find a way to keep your name(s) out of the court house and you are well on your way to your ultimate goal of "dropping out."

I have been doing some research on getting removed from junk mail. One of the suggesstions is to write to Direct Marketing Association and send in a request though the mail preference service and other similar list services.

Do you think this is a good idea  or only make it harder to get my information removed and possibly passed on to other sources?

Lou,

I am always suspicious of those services that are supposed to get you OUT by you giving them MORE information. First, you need to STOP giving out your personal information to everyone that asks for it. If you must give info out, make it your p.o. box and or your office phone number. Their is NO need to give out your home address and phone. Also, learn to not take title to anything (cars, houses, boats, etc.) in YOUR name. Use trusts to take title in the name of trustees. This will keep your name out of the court house records and off a LOT of lists. We are offering our Land Trusts Made Simple basic home study course this month at a Killer Deal price as a download. This will teach you all you need to know about Land Trusts.
