Out of State property

Wednesday, July 06 2011 09:59 PM

I live in Florida and own rental property in Alabama.  Can I place this property in a Florida land trust?  What is the general guideline for establishing trusts for property in states other than the one you reside in?

What is the general guideline for establishing trusts for property in states other than the one you reside in? YOU NEED TO SITE THE TRUST LAW FOR THE STATE YOU ARE USING IN YOUR TRUST AGREEMENT AND YOU NEED A TRUSTEE IN THE SAME STATE. CALL ME IF YOU HAVE MORE QUESTIONS.
