Personal Property is the Sole Member
Tuesday, May 24 2011 04:25 PM
I would like to know when I set up a Personal Property that I am the Beneficiary of, and this Personal Property Trust is the managing member of an LLC, who or how would any legal documents have to be signed. Would I sign as Trustee of the Personal Property Trust (John Smith, as Trustee) for the LLC?

MREYES,
SEE MY COMMENTS BELOW IN BOLD.

I ASSUME YOU MEAN LEGAL DOCUMENTS FOR THE LLC NOT THE PPT? IF SO, THE TRUSTEE OF THE PPT WOULD SIGN AS THE MANAGING MEMBER OF THE LLC ON ANY LLC DOCS THAT NEEDED SIGNED. HOPE THIS HELPS.

So would the signature look like this example below;
Agreed this day, June 10th, 2006, by:
John Smith, Managing Member of John's Landscaping Service, LLC
Or would the word Trustee be used after John's name?
