Can Beneficiary Be a Pro Se Litigant?
Thursday, February 18 2010 10:03 PM
I am a "managing" beneficiary in numerous land trusts. Some of the properties are/will be in foreclosure. The beneficiaries, including the original homeowner who is on the loan want to file a complaint against the lender to challenge their claim as the "real party of interest". Is the original homeowner beneficiary, (person on the loan) the only one that can file as a Pro Se litigant or can I, as the managing beneficiary represent the other beneficiaries including the original homeowner as the Pro Se litigant?

Sorry for the delayed response...have been in florida for a few weeks (trying to avoid the mid west's ugly winter).
I would suggest you talk to a knowledgeable attorney in your state. Each state is different and I would not want to mislead you. You can find a knowledgeable land trust attorney at our website link: http://www.realestateforprofit.com/secure/products.aspx?cid=12
If you do not find what you need at this link let me know as there are several states that we have not posted up yet.
