Hughes Brothers Trust vs. NARS
Thursday, February 04 2010 11:09 AM
I have read extensively about the NARS Equity Holding Land Trust and trusts articles from books and web sites. You mentioned earlier that the NARS was just a land holding trust with a different twist. Can your trusts be configured to do the same as the NARS trusts?

YES, BUT WE DO NOT ADVISE DOING THIS. THE NARS SYSTEM (WHILE PERFECTLY LEGAL AND CORRECTLY FORMED) INVOLVES THREE PARTIES AND MULTIPLE BENEFICIARIES. WE DO NOT LIKE MULTIPLE BENEFICIARIES FOR LIABILITY REASONS. FURTHERMORE, WHILE THE CONCEPT IS GOOD THE PRACTICALITY IS THAT ONE OF THE THREE PARTIES INVOLVED IS GOING TO GET UNHAPPY (FOR WHATEVER REASON) AND WANT OUT, OR SUE, OR AT LEAST TALK TO AN ATTORNEY...WHICH IS NOTHING BUT TROUBLE THAT CAN BE AVOIDED.

I took the NARS course, but have just purchased your course, can you explain a bit more about the beneficiary difference between the two?
