Land Trust VS Corporation

Tuesday, March 25 2008 05:43 PM

I just started a short sale business and I was told that I needed to deed the property into a land trust or a corporation before I negociate the deal.  I know they are both a form of asset protection but is one better for tax purposes?  Can someone let me know which one is better?

Dreams,

Sorry for the delay in answering your question, we have had a problem with our Discussion Forum.

Trusts and Corporations are two different entities and as such offer different advantages and disadvantages. Why not get the best of both? We recommend that you always start with a Land Trust first and then make the beneficiary either an individual, corporation or another trust.
