Privacy Issue w/Lender

Wednesday, August 22 2007 12:54 PM

Have taken your course on Privacy & Asset Protection and have been using a PO box/UPS address for almost a year.  However, just in the process of securing a loan on some rental property and am being told by the lender/broker if I use this 'mailing address' on the app, it could be construed as mortgage fraud.  (i.e. using this address under physical home ownership section).  How do you guys handle this?

Makrita,

I think he is wrong. Your address is your address. I assume you are using a valid address for your mail and this is not fraud. You are not lying about anything. Why would they even care what address you put down for your mail anyway? It is not like you are trying to apply for an owner occupied loan and misrepresenting that you will live there...when you are really going to rent the house out.
