Looking for a free website or low cost website to check back ground &credit scores on possible tenant applicants.
I know there are some good ones out there, I need some help in locating them.
Any site names or suggestions on where to find them will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

You might consider trying www.tenantscreening.net
We have used them for 4 years and have no complaints.

Which one do you use the $10.95 or the $19.95 fee, and is that for one social security number or two? How do you handle a husband and wife, do you check one or both? How do you handle boyfriend and girlfriend, do you check one or both?
Thanks

Rich and kathy,
You have to pay for each social that you check. i always check both adults whether married or not. my price is a little cheaper than your quote because i belong to an association that gets a quantity discount. i hope this helps you!

Upon looking around for this same topic, I looked at a site that may be Illinois specific but not a bad deal.
ILtenants.com, there is a membership fee but that allows small managers to get access to credit reports without tons of hassle. The Credit Report alone is $5, and everything else can be added on like Criminal search, bankruptcy and others. The only thing I did not see on there was credit scores. I think that is a must, when you can use that for a deciding what level of Upfront money they will need to pay. When you can have set guidelines that apply to all applications it takes the discrimination away.
