MOG,

This is a REAL problem for us self-employed types. The best premiums are thru group plans. Think about how you can join a group. For example, let's say you have a friend who owns a company with a group health plan. You could do some consulting for the company and qualify to get on their group plan. Maybe you could come up with a way to re-compensate your friend...if you know what i mean.
